Writerspace offers two types of advertising: banner placement and newsletter ads. The banners are standard images and rotated through the chat rooms, bulletin boards and information pages. We also offer subsection banner advertising on our hosted communities Paranormal Romance and Sensual Romance. You may also buy banner space on The Best Reviews. Banners are not present on any of the author pages. The Writerspace News is mailed weekly. Although you may buy an ad for placement in the Writerspace newsletter, our subscriber list is not for sale or rent. We take our subscribers' privacy seriously.

Banner Advertising

Banner ads run at the top of selected reader-based Writerspace pages including the chat rooms, bulletin boards, ePost Card Shop and general interest pages. All banners run randomly except for pre-purchased reserve periods in the reader and author chat rooms.

The full banner can be a maximum of 468 pixels wide by 60 pixels deep. The maximum file size is 8Kb maximum for a static (non-animated) banner OR 12Kb maximum for an animated banner with a maximum three loops. All files must be GIF format. If you do not provide the banner, you may work with us to design a banner for a fee of $75 for static banners, $150 for animated (up to 4 frames)

Writerspace publishes a weekly newsletter for subscribers. This is a opt-in newsletter to a highly-targeted group of romance readers updating them on activities at Writerspace including contests, chats, author news and updated information. Classified advertisements of Text only -- up to 6 lines at 72 characters per line -- can be included in the newsletter. Currently the newsletter is sent to nearly 65,000 subscribers. $250 per mailing
